Kev's Gym In order to carry out this mission, we offer three services: Senior fitness classes, in-home personal training, and outdoor group exercise.

Kev’s Gym is a health & fitness business with a mission to inspire people of all ages and backgrounds to live happier and healthier lives through fun, educational, and friendly fitness experiences. Senior Fitness: The senior population is an under-served market, that is growing in size and is in need of fitness classes taught by fun, uplifting, and energetic yoga instructors and personal trainers.

At Kev’s Gym, we provide chair yoga and seated exercise classes to seniors at retirement homes, independent living, assisted living, memory care, skilled nursing, health and rehabilitation facilities, 55+ retirement communities, senior centers, and country clubs in various markets throughout the US. In-Home Personal Training: Kev’s Gym is remote in nature and brings health and wellness directly to you! We can workout at your house, remotely via Zoom, or the great outdoors. As a personal training client, you will learn all aspects fitness including, but not limited to: cardio, strength training, flexibility, nutrition, meditation, breathing exercises, and positive self-talk! Group Exercise: At Kev’s Gym, we offer a wide variety of outdoor workouts that are fun, team-oriented, social, educational, and exciting. From aerobics, high intensity interval training (HIIT), core conditioning, and agility, to strength training, boxing, and yoga, our classes are designed to accommodate the needs of all age groups and experience levels. This is an affordable way to get in great shape and meet other like-minded, upbeat, and optimistic individuals.

Our Story

I started Kev's Gym in March 2014 with a goal to motivate and inspire people from all walks of life (male, female, young, and old) to get in great shape and to ultimately live more fulfilling and vibrant lives. To accomplish this goal, I did in-home personal training and yoga sessions, along with outdoor fitness classes. I also gave back to the community by volunteering to teach chair yoga and chair fitness classes at retirement homes to assist the elderly in the Northern, VA area. Since then, the underlying goal has remained the same, but the approach has evolved.

During my first few years in the fitness industry, I discovered a couple problems/opportunities that needed to be addressed. First, I found that the elderly population was an under-served market, that was growing in size, and demanded regular chair yoga/fitness classes taught by optimistic and uplifting fitness professionals. Second, from the fitness professional side of the spectrum, personal trainers and yoga instructors were experts in their fields, but needed assistance on the business side of things including: marketing, scheduling, invoicing, etc. By connecting top-tier fitness professionals to the elderly population, and removing the administrative business burden from fitness professionals, Kev's Gym adds great value to all parties involved, while advancing our mission on a much larger scale!

Since inception, Kev's Gym has accomplished some amazing things, and we're just getting started! We look forward to having you as a client or a trainer/instructor on our team!

Kevin
