We’re thrilled to introduce Dr. Cassie Nghiem, the newest addition to our world-class surgical team—and the first female plastic surgeon in Austin-Weston’s history.
A fellowship-trained, board-certified plastic surgeon, Dr. Nghiem brings a refined, feminine perspective to aesthetic care. Her approach combines surgical precision with compassion and empathy, offering patients elegant, natural results and a deeply personalized experience that makes them feel seen, understood, and confident in their transformation.
Dr. Nghiem’s journey is as impressive as it is inspiring. She earned her undergraduate degree from Dartmouth College, a master’s in physiology and biophysics from Georgetown University, and a medical degree from the University of Michigan Medical School, one of the top programs in the country. She went on to complete an elite Integrated Plastic Surgery Residency at the University of Rochester, followed by a prestigious Aesthetic Plastic Surgery Fellowship.
Today, she is board-certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and a proud member of both the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and the National Capital Society of Plastic Surgeons.
With less than 20% of all board-certified plastic surgeons being women, Dr. Nghiem’s addition to our team is both rare and remarkable. Her insight into the emotional and physical goals of many of our patients—particularly women, mothers, and members of the LGBTQ+ community—adds a new dimension to the care we provide.
At Austin-Weston, our patients benefit from the collective skill of a diverse surgical team. By uniting varied backgrounds, perspectives, and specialties, we continue to set a new benchmark for what’s possible in cosmetic care.
Please join us in welcoming Dr. Nghiem to the Austin-Weston family! 🤩
