There is so much information about autism, both true and untrue, for parents. It can be overwhelming being exposed to everything from journal articles to Facebook groups and Reddit threads, especially when initially given a diagnosis. These are my go to recs for parents with a new Autism diagnosis that are now navigating what next steps are as an SLP who supports diverse ways of thinking and processing.
