It is common for people to see out of control sexual behaviors as an addiction. Clinically speaking this is not an addiction and treating it as such only perpetuates other issues. It is better identified as “Out of control sexual compulsions.” These behaviors that are often related to ADHD.

Screening for ADHD can better help your treatment plan to address the compulsive behaviors and feel more in control.
