Madisonhealth

Madisonhealth Madisonhealth, is east Idaho's premiere healthcare system comprising of eight robust clinics. Over the years, we've enjoyed great respect and recognition.

The Madison Memorial brand has been well loved throughout the community. But we're growing. We're more than a hospital now. We're two of the most robust medical clinics in the area. We're a technologically advanced surgery center. We're an orthopedics practice. A radiology clinic. A rehabilitation center. A Huntsman-affiliated cancer care center. And so much more. Our team is more than 700 strong, all of us collaborating to inspire healthy living in our community. And we're joined by a network of 270 providers. "Hospital" no longer describes us. We're a system. We are Madisonhealth.

🌼 This month’s DAISY Award goes to Aubrie Hibbert from PACU! 🌼

The DAISY Award recognizes nurses who provide extraordinary, compassionate care to patients and families.

Here’s part of the nomination that made Aubrie this month’s honoree:

“Aubrie is an exceptional nurse who truly goes above and beyond for her patients. I’ve had the opportunity to work with her on Labor & Delivery and also experience her care as a patient myself. When Aubrie cared for my patients, I always knew they were in the best hands. She anticipates needs, communicates clearly, and works seamlessly as part of the care team.

When I recently had surgery, Aubrie checked on me before the procedure, cared for me in PACU, and even came to see me later on the Med-Surg floor. She helped change my gown, refreshed my ice pack, filled my water, and made sure I was comfortable. When you’re the patient, those small acts of kindness mean everything.

Nurses like Aubrie possess something that can’t be taught—true compassion, dedication, and excellence in nursing.”

Aubrie, thank you for the difference you make for patients and your team every single day. Congratulations on being recognized with the DAISY Award! 💙

March is Social Work Month, and we’re taking a moment to celebrate the incredible social workers who serve throughout Madisonhealth. 💙

While many people may think of their work in one specific setting, their impact reaches far and wide. Our social workers help care for patients and families across many areas of the hospital, offering support, guidance, advocacy, and compassion when it’s needed most.

From helping patients navigate care plans and resources, to supporting discharge planning, connecting families with services, and walking alongside people through some of life’s most difficult moments—these beautiful humans make a difference every single day.

Today, we honor not just our social workers, but ALL social workers for the vital role they play in healthcare and human services. Thank you for the empathy, strength, and heart you bring to this work. Your care helps patients feel seen, supported, and never alone.

🚑 A Powerful New Tool for Life-Saving Care ❤️

Thanks to the incredible support of our Madison Memorial Hospital Foundation, our Emergency Department has received a LUCAS Chest Compression System—a specialized device designed to deliver consistent, high-quality CPR during cardiac emergencies.

When someone’s heart stops, every second matters. The LUCAS machine provides automated chest compressions, helping maintain blood flow to the brain and vital organs while allowing medical teams to focus on other critical, life-saving interventions. It can also help maintain effective CPR during patient transport or longer resuscitation efforts.

This equipment will be a tremendous support to both our patients and our Emergency Department team, helping ensure reliable, uninterrupted compressions in some of the most critical moments of care.

The LUCAS system was one of the final funding awards of 2025 from our Hospital Foundation, whose members work year-round raising funds through community initiatives to support important needs like this within our hospital.

Our Emergency teams are excited to have this new tool available and are already running trainings to ensure they are fully prepared to use it when seconds matter most.

A huge shout-out to our Emergency Department providers and staff, who show up 24/7/365 to care for people during some of the hardest and most painful moments of their lives. Their work happens in one of the highest-stress environments in healthcare, and we are grateful to support them with the tools they need to save lives.

💙 Thank you to our Hospital Foundation for recognizing this need and continuing to invest in the health and safety of our community.

Did you know....at both Madison High School and Sugar-Salem High School, athletes complete concussion baseline testing before their season even begins.

Through a partnership between Madison Memorial Hospital and Specialists of Idaho , the Madisonhealth Sports Medicine program places Athletic Trainers on-site to help protect student-athletes. As part of their ongoing efforts to keep athletes safe and healthy, they complete preseason concussion baseline screenings so there is objective data available if an injury is suspected.

If a possible concussion occurs, those baseline results give medical providers something to compare against, helping guide safer return-to-play decisions.

It’s another way we are working behind the scenes to keep local athletes safe and in the game.

Thanks to funding from the Madison Memorial Hospital Foundation, our Cancer Care Center was able to make a meaningful improvement for our patients—beautiful custom benches placed outside the cancer care, infusion and specialty clinics for those waiting for rides or simply stepping outside for a moment of fresh air.

What makes this project even more special is the partnership behind it. Our wonderful Cancer Care team coordinated with the Madison High School Welding Class, where students crafted these benches with incredible skill and care. These benches will serve patients and families for many years to come, thanks to their craftsmanship.

A special thank you to Mr. Jason Bair, the fearless leader of the Madison High School Agriculture Program, for taking on this project and for the work he does every day teaching valuable skills to students in our community!

We are grateful to our Hospital Foundation, our local schools, and the talented students who helped make this project possible. It’s a beautiful reminder of how a community comes together to support one another.

🎨 Celebrating Creativity in Our Community 📸✍️

We were proud to sponsor the 2026 Art, Poetry, and Photography Contest hosted by the amazing Rexburg Civic Club. This contest invited students in grades 1–12 to share their creativity and talents, and the results were truly inspiring.

This is just a small taste of some of the winners (and their incredible work) recognized during the awards ceremony last week at the historic Romance Theater. Congratulations to all of the talented students who participated and took home awards!

Opportunities like this do more than showcase creativity—they also support wellbeing. Studies show that participating in the arts can reduce stress, improve confidence, and strengthen emotional health for kids and teens.

Thank you to the Rexburg Civic Club for creating meaningful opportunities like this for young people in our community. We are grateful to support programs that celebrate creativity, confidence, and connection. 💙

When Casey Dye first began working in radiology, the goal was simple: help people get back to living their lives as fully as possible.

Over time, that passion grew into something even bigger—leading and mentoring others in the field.

Recently, Casey was honored with the ICE Diamond Award, recognizing outstanding leadership and impact within the radiology community.

During the acceptance speech, Casey shared a Chinese proverb that reflects the journey:

“Teachers open the door, but a student must enter in by themselves.”

Throughout the years, mentors helped open those doors for Casey. Today, Casey does the same for others—supporting the next generation of radiology leaders, celebrating their wins, and helping them navigate challenges along the way.

We are incredibly proud to have leaders like Casey on our team. Congratulations on this well-deserved recognition! 💙

In February, our team celebrated Heart Health Month with a little friendly competition — but not the kind you might expect.

This wasn’t about who was the fastest.
It was about who was the most accurate. 👏

Using CPR training technology, our staff performed chest compressions on a CPR manikin while watching an ambulance move across a screen toward the hospital. The more consistent and precise the compressions, the faster the ambulance moved.

Four teammates at a time.
Focused. Determined. In the zone.

We also practiced infant CPR — because when it comes to saving a life, every second (and every skill) matters.

A very special shoutout to Heather Burrell, our American Heart Association Education guru. 💪❤️ Heather doesn’t just show up during Heart Health Month — she leads this work every single day.

Madisonhealth is proud to be an American Heart Association Training Site and Train-the-Trainer location, and Heather oversees it all. Because of this partnership, our staff practice, certify, and re-certify multiple times each year — keeping their skills sharp and ready when our community needs them most.

If this is a skill YOU — your youth group, your business, your club, or your family — would like to brush up on, Heather would love to connect with you.
