When we first moved here we knew there was something very special about this area and wanted to contribute to its wellness. Both Samantha and I Graduated from Brigham Young University - Idaho. Sam with a degree in Preschool Education and me with a degree in Nursing. We've been married for four wonderful years and have a two year old boy named Porter. This coming July we're adding another little boy to the family. We love to do just about anything, from camping and hiking outdoors to snuggling up to a good movie. Come, get to know us and join our family! I began my career as a Registered Nurse in home health. I cared for people in their homes as well as in assisted living. Seeing patients in almost all of the assisted living facilities in the area I felt there was something missing. Many facilities claim to treat their residents as family, however I found that quite the opposite was happening. The truth is when you have extremely high caregiver to resident ratios it is impossible to develop quality, loving relationships, let alone handle all the needs of the residents. I found a deficit in the area and asked myself, "Why can't the elderly stay in family homes?" They can! Once I found that out, I decided to take matters in my own hands by bringing the elderly into my own home. I purchased a beautiful home and got it licensed as a Certified Family Home. My vision is that when you combine assisted living with a literal family atmosphere, loving relationships develop and quality of life improves. Come feel the impact of what assisted living becomes when you bring it within the walls of a family home.
