Carriage Cove is seeking a management-minded professional to lead our food service department—not just to oversee meals, but to elevate our team culture, accountability, and pride in service. We’re looking for someone who leads by example, inspires team members, and takes ownership of systems, training, and outcomes. If you're driven by leadership and improvement more than just culinary services, this opportunity is for you.
⚠️You do not need to be a Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) to apply—we are willing to pay for certification for the right candidate who brings strong leadership and operational oversight experience.⚠️
⭐Responsibilities
- Oversee the dietary department and ensure compliance with all regulations
- Conduct patient assessments and develop individualized dietary plans
- Supervise food preparation, including special diets like tube feeding
- Provide health coaching to residents on proper nutrition and wellness
- Manage budgeting for the dietary department
- Utilize physiology knowledge to address specific dietary needs
⭐Requirements
- Experience in a healthcare setting preferred
- Proficiency in supervising staff and managing dietary operations
- Strong leadership skills to guide and motivate team members
- Knowledge of alimentary requirements and specialized diets
- Ability to conduct patient assessments and create tailored dietary plans
