It was SHIATSU DAY today at RCMT! Shiatsu is a traditional Japanese, clothed body work therapy that uses pressure along energy pathways (meridians) to balance the body’s energy! 🍀"MARCH"ing🍀in as our🌈LUCKY🌈 Instructor of the Month is.....
ALYSSA!!!
Alyssa is a Tennessee native who found her way to Rexburg to obtain a bachelor degree from Brigham Young University Idaho. She graduated with a degree in Biomedical Science with the plan to pursue either dental or PA school. To help make this decision, Alyssa decided on taking a gap year and began working in an orthodontic office. She loved the job but mainly loved talking about the associated knowledge that she was gaining. A couple months after starting that position, she was able to start teaching at BYUI. While doing both, Alyssa found her joy in teaching. This joy helped her realize that graduate school wasn't for her. Therefore, due to her love of science and teaching, that's how she found her way to us.

When Alyssa isn't teaching, she's spending time with her husband, Braydon. They enjoy visiting family, watching and attending sports games, playing games and movie nights.
