🍎🚌 Back to school is coming soon and so is our first Nick's Round Table Meeting for the 25-26 school year - Monday, October 6th at 6:15 at the Clifton Park YMCA. As a reminder, Nick's Round Table is comprised of a group of teens helping children with cancer battle cancer. If your teen is interested in joining, let us know! Our supplies for our Family Hope Bags are LOW and we could use your help! Please consider purchasing something on our Amazon wish list and/or share with others who can help! Last Nick’s Round Table meeting of the school year!

This group has accomplished so much! From Hope Bags, Comfort Bags, flower planting, supporting Maddie’s Mark, to so much more. Every single project has made a real impact.

But what makes this group so special isn’t just what they’ve done, it’s the heart behind it all. They show up, they care, and they support one another. It’s been a meaningful and successful year, and something they should all be very proud of.

Tonight we celebrated our seniors. The ones who helped shape this group and set the tone for what it means to give back with kindness, consistency, and heart.

Congratulations to: Sydney Joyce (Teen of the Year), Jack Seagroatt, Dia Sweet, Caleb Brown, Grayson Sisley, Greg Parseghian, Rohit Nattanmai, Jack Landers, and Alex Fairbank for your many years of dedication, the difference you’ve made in the lives of children fighting cancer, and your meaningful involvement in Nick’s Round Table.

Just a reminder that our last meeting of the school year is tomorrow (Monday) at 6:15 PM at the YMCA!

We’ll be celebrating our amazing seniors, announcing the officers for next year, and wrapping up another great year together. We’ll have pizza and dessert.

On Sunday, Nick’s Round Table got their hands dirty for a meaningful cause, planting flowers at the Shen Memorial Garden.

We honored the memory of students who are no longer with us but never forgotten. We’re proud of these volunteers for showing up with heart, kindness, and shovels in hand.

Moments like these remind us that even small acts of care can leave a lasting impact.

Sometimes, it’s the smallest requests that carry the most meaning.

When a young boy coping with his sister’s cancer journey shared that all he wanted was a t-shirt, something just for him, something that made his family feel seen, we knew we had to make it happen.

Nick’s Round Table proudly funded the creation of these shirts to show this family they are not alone. Every sibling matters. Every story matters. And sometimes, a simple shirt can remind someone they are important too.

Thank you to everyone who supports our mission to lift up families when they need it most.

At our last two meetings, we have been busy spreading hope and kindness in our community!

We supported the Maddie's Mark Foundation 5k by helping with race prep and honoring Maddie’s legacy of “best days ever.” We also created a shell chandelier for who loves the beach but can’t get there right now due to treatment. We hope it brings the ocean to her!

The teens assembled Hope Bags for the Melodies Center, donated a Comfort Bag, and made a congratulatory card for Marybeth, a Child Life Specialist at the Melodies Center, to celebrate her being named Child Specialist of the Year!

This group continues to show up with compassion.

Thank you to everyone who attended our meeting on Monday! During our meeting, we put together spring goodie bags to give to The Melodies Center. We also made card in support of and Kidney Cancer Awareness month! Lastly, we held a sock donation for the hope bags!!
