Yesterday was a special meeting. 🖤❤️

The teens made 10 Hope Bags to send to the Melodies Center. Jennifer & Kim from the Logan Strong Foundation and Erin & Brenda from Maddie’s Mark Foundation joined us…

Jennifer and Erin shared their stories with so much honesty and strength… and their gratitude filled the room.

We also had Benny from WTEN Channel 13 join us, a former Vice President of Nick’s Round Table, who spoke to the teens about his experience and how much this group impacted his life journey.
(Be on the lookout for his “Greater Good” story on the Round Table during the 4:30 news today and later online!)

We’re also so grateful to the Logan Strong Foundation for their generosity in donating Ocho, books, and gift cards to include in our Hope Bags.. adding even more hope and support for the teens who receive them.

It’s a powerful reminder that when like-minded people come together and support one another, the impact is even greater. This is what it’s all about. 🖤❤️

These bags go to teens during one of the hardest times in their lives > and this community makes it possible!

Thank you so much to everyone who joined us for our April meeting! It was a great one! We made tons of thank-you cards for our generous donors, wrote emails to local businesses asking for donations, planned future fundraising events, and created a birthday card for one of our dear supporters, Ann. Happy 80th birthday, Ann! 🎉🥳 Don’t forget to donate clothes to the Closet for Change drive at Shenendehowa!

Did you know that Nick’s Round Table also donates a personalized Comfort Bag worth over $150, plus a Lukestrong down pillow for teens fighting cancer at the Melodies Center? Some of our recent bags included personalized items for two teen girls. We filled the bag with their favorite snacks, clothes, tons of comfy items, games for long hospital stays, and much more! Your donations really make an impact, so thank you all so much!! ❤️🖤

We honor JP Honsinger with the Nick’s Round Table Impact Award! “JP touched more lives than he probably even realizes.” - Jack Murphy (former president and JP’s friend since they were 5 yrs old). Thank you all so much for coming to our March meeting tonight, it was an extra special one!! We got to hear from our amazing friends Sam Goetz and Vanessa to share their personal experiences and what Comfort and Hope Bags meant to their journeys! They are truly an inspiration to our club and we’re so grateful they could make it out tonight! We can’t wait to organize new Comfort bags for our friends at the Melodies Center, see you all soon! ❤️

Each bag costs $150 and includes comfort items, gift cards, and support resources.

Our goal is to fill 30 Hope Bags in 2026.
