My sweet thank you gift ☺️

For the past two months, I’ve had the absolute honor and pleasure of being Lauren Vogel’s preceptor while she is studying hard to become a PMHNP.

As a fellow mom and police wife with a passion for helping others (she’s been in nursing the last 21 years working in labor and delivery the last 10), I’m so excited to see her pursue her passion to work in maternal mental health.

Way to go, Lauren!

I’m feeling heartbroken, devastated, angry, confused…but it will never compare to the family, friends, and fellow officers who knew and love Officer Wagner and what I can imagine they’re going through right now. My sincerest condolences to everyone.

Officer Wagner was a husband. A father. A son. A friend. A hero.

Rest easy now.

I’m wishing Officer Payne and Officer Gale a speedy recovery and sending thoughts of comfort and healing to all impacted by this tragedy.
