In the case of a fire, would you be more concerned about the fire or the fire alarm?
I think it’s safe to say that the answer would be the fire every single time.
Which makes sense because the alarm is not the problem. It is only there to tell us about the real problem, the fire.
I’m going to encourage you to think of your health & your body the same way.
The fire alarm here are symptoms. Aches, pains, discomfort, fever, congestion, vomiting, diarrhea, and the list could go on.
These are the ways that our body communicates with us or “sets off the alarm” that our presence is needed and our body needs support.
The fire is the chronic, fight or flight/ survival overdrive state that so many live in every single day.
Just like you wouldn’t try to stop a fire by stopping your fire alarm. Trying to “fix” a symptom or “make it go away” does nothing for YOUR fire.
Our care addresses the “fire.” Bringing more ease & balance to your nervous system so that it can create more of the same for you 🙌🏼

This one seems to be a fan favorite since getting hung a few weeks back.
Wondering why you may not be feeling your best physically?

Some of our new artwork in our new space is providing some good reminders for us all!
One of the many things that chiropractic care can provide for us all is a very gentle (sometimes a little more 😉) reminder to be present.
Not just in the moment in time we are in, but with ourselves.
Stop.
Breathe.
Acknowledging all of our stuff. Good, bad, or whatever you want to call it.
The more we are present with us, with our stuff, the more insight to growth & change we uncover.

A mom, who’s high school soccer player is under our care, said “… she’s better off since starting here.”
Not just better off because she feels better, but this athlete is PERFORMING BETTER on the field since starting care with us 🙌🏼

Another… one of our awesome lifestyle care practice members told us she experienced “complete homeostasis” after her last adjustment!
For those of you that may not know, homeostasis is the state of balance in the body.

The body is such an amazing thing and it’s marvelous ability to change never stands out more than when a woman is pregnant.
2 cells coming together & 9-10 months later multiple trillions of cells come together to make a baby.
It is such an honor to help women move through pregnancy with more grace, ease, & trust in their body.
Notice in the second picture how much more relaxed the belly is!
Balancing the nervous system via a chiropractic adjustment -> brings mom more ease-> relaxes the pelvis & surrounding soft tissue -> gives baby the most room to find the optimal position for birth 🙌🏼

So many people want to give us the congratulations, or the 'you did it' when they start experiencing change and reaching their goals.
We are so thankful for al of those, but we truly cannot take the credit and here is why...
The adjustment is not the process of healing, It is merely the initiator of the process.
Bringing the body, the nervous system back to a place that is more conducive to healing.
You and your body have the amazing potential to heal, not us.
