Now that kids are back in school, the frustrations of the school year are more apparent than ever. Did you know that the first chiropractic adjustment was given on September 18th 1895? Daniel David Palmer is the founder of chiropractic. And the lucky recipient was a janitor who had been deaf for the past 17 years after feeling something “give” in his back. Palmer proceeded to examine the area and gave a primitive adjustment. He had felt what appeared to be an out of place vertebrae in the janitors upper back. The janitor noticed an improvement in his hearing shortly after!
