Within the world of Caribbean spiritual traditions and folk magick practices, you’d be hard pressed not to hear the names of Chango Macho and/or Papa Candelo. But who are they and why do they have so much popularity?

Drawing from his own experience/knowledge from a Caribbean/Puerto Rican and New Orleans based framework, Papa illustrates the lore, legend and power of both Candelo and Chango Macho, and the controversial stories behind the latter! Magic starts with YOUR Spirit!

The concept of one’s “higher self,” “spiritual double,” or “head spirit” is well known throughout many ATR/ADR’s and many other spiritual traditions as well.

This spirit, that we are all born with, is considered a direct conduit/link to the Divine Source. The importance of reverencing, working and interacting with its energy daily cannot be overemphasized.

Sadly, many people either don't know this Spirit exists, or don't understand the concept. In this class, Papa Rose (https://www.facebook.com/luispaparose.rosa) shares his knowledge and expertise on the care and feeding of your Ori (higher self).

We will touch on the lore and insights gleaned from experience. We will also be touching on techniques, rituals and practices to strengthen your head spirit and your relationship with them.

A New Option for Purchasing Classes!

In the last few months, we discovered that students purchased courses to watch the recording, but did not attend class. We know everyone is busy, but its really hard to teach to an empty room. Student interaction (and the ability to ask questions live) always make for a better class. But we UNDERSTAND.

So, in order for our instructors to be prepared for to teach for a recording, we've offered two options. You can attend live (and still receive a recording), or you can order just the recording. We plan to leave the recording option up for the entire month, because many people say they are upset that they missed the chance to register when they find a class has been already taught.

The additional charge for recordings is for the manual management it takes to enroll students who don't appear live. We also hope that the live class attendence price being lower will encourage more of you to attend class. So, please choose correctly if you plan on being in attendance for class.

We have some classes this month that we've not offered in a while. Money Magic has not been taught since April of this year, Feeding Your Head was last offered in 2024, Green Magic was last taught in September 2023, and the Keys of Moses class was last offered in 2022! You don't want to miss these classes this time around!

We have three new classes this month as well, and I am excited about all of them! We look foward to seeing you in class!

Recorded Classes

Hello BLC Students!

We have noticed an uptick in students registering for courses and not attending the live class. While we find that to be acceptable because of people’s schedules, it is not preferrable for instructors to teach to an empty room. Interaction in class helps students ask questions in real time, and the classes are more beneficial as a result. We’ve rescheduled two classes this month because of low registration, and the people who did purchase the class did not attend live.

We’ve also seen lots of people say that they missed the class, and want to reach out to the instructor for the recording. This can be quite cumbersome when the class has already been taught, and the student wants to reach out to instructor. So, we are going to offer the recording only option for an additional $20. This way, the instructor can see who is attending the live class, and who is going to purchase the recording, and plan how they will teach the class accordingly. The additional $20 is going to pay for the time that it takes to administer recordings to people.

This will begin with NEXT month’s classes. The classes will remain on the website all month. Once a class is taught, the live option for purchase will not be available, but you will be able to buy the recording during the month it is offered. Students who attend class will still get a recording of the session. Since we use Google Meet, please register for any class with a Google email. If you buy products as well as classes, please use a Gmail email address for physical orders as well so that a duplicate customer profile is not created. We are billed for number of customers we send marketing emails to, so having duplicate customer profiles is not preferrable.

If you have any questions regarding this change, please feel free to reach out to me. Please understand that purchasing the recording means just that. If you wish to ask questions of the instructors, you can reach out to them for personal mentoring sessions after you’ve watched the recording.

We are hoping that this change makes it easier for instructors and students and respects everyone’s time.

Register Early and Get Your Links!

Dear Big Liz Conjure Students and Customers,

Many of our students take more than one class from an instructor. They also register for classes from multiple instructors.

When you purchase one class, you are automatically sent the links in your receipt. If you purchase more than one class, I have to manually send you the links.

I'll be away from the computer most of next week. So, we are asking that if you are going to attend any of Arias (https://www.facebook.com/AriasEthaniel) ' classes next week, PLEASE purchase them right away! If you don't, and there is an issue, I may not be able to address it in a timely manner, and you will miss the live class and only receive a recording.

I know this is inconvient, but our system just recently got the fuctionality for automatic links to see sent via your receipt. It took forever for them to even do that!

If multiple classes are purchased (and we encourage this to save on transction fees), we want to make sure you get all the links you've purchase BEFORE class.

If you have any, questions, please feel free to respond to this email so that I may answer them. And please remember to use a Gmail address in your customer profile because we use Google Meet, and they require it for you to view a class recording.
