Astor’s School Based Behavioral Health and Training Program provides on-site mental health services in select public schools in the Bronx & Hudson Valley. Clinicians provide individual therapy sessions for students enrolled in the clinic during the school day so they can get support in the moment and address any challenges that may come up in the course of their day. They also run social emotional learning and skills-based groups, spend time collaborating with teachers and work to support the overall culture of mental health and wellbeing in our schools! Wappingers Central School District Universal PreK Lottery is now open for the 2026-2027 school year. The lottery is open until February 27. Astor’s UPK classroom will be open 8:30am-2:30pm and provide free breakfast and lunch. More info at https://www.astorservices.org/wappingershs/

On December 11, world‑renowned pianist Katya Grineva visited PS 134 in the Bronx for a special concert. Students were treated to an unforgettable live performance, giving them a rare opportunity to experience world‑class classical music right in their school. The PS 134 the student council warmly thanked her by presenting a bouquet of flowers. Katya also shared a delightful video she created for children in partnership with Crayola to share how music and visual arts can come together.
