Yesterday at Milestone Senior Living in Rhinelander, staff, residents, family, and the community celebrated a Dare to Dream for one resident in particular! 🥲 She is recognized around the building by many, and one thing that stands out about her is her dream to meet a rich man with a fast car! 🤑🚘

Each month, one resident gets chosen by the Life Engagement Coordinator for a chance to have their dream come true! Yesterday, we were able to bring her dream of having a rich man with a fast car to life with the help of many people, including Ron Drake (car enthusiast), Chloe Felde (photographer), and Dublin Sports Bar and Grill (food truck). A huge thank you goes out to these three for coordinating with the LEC to not only make this day special but one of a kind! Your eagerness to help those in the community does not go unnoticed, and Milestone is forever grateful for the kind hearts that each of you have! 💭

The morning started off with some freshening up before the surprise! She got her hair done, makeup done, and dressed in a beautiful outfit. 💄 She was then surprised by her son and his wife! Not only did she have her son and his wife by her side, but two other family members also made an appearance! There is nothing richer than having family by your side. 🫂

This very special lady was then brought out to a huge crowd of people from the community greeting her and cheering her on as she got to look at all the fast cars! To make the day even more special, she was to pick a 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winner! Each winner got a custom trophy labeled “Dare to Dream”. Special thanks to Ron for making that possible! 🏆

Once all the winners were chosen, she then got to take a ride in the 1st place winner's car! She was thrilled when realizing she was getting her very own ride! The wheels spun, and she was having fun one burnout at a time! 🛞 In the end, she and her family were able to grab some food from the food truck and sit inside for a nice lunch. She was so tired by the end of everything, but she truly loved every second! Thank you all for making this day so special and coming out to give her the Dare to Dream of a lifetime! ✨
