Koinonia Treatment Facility Koinonia is an alcohol and drug Residential Treatment Facility providing inpatient services.

Koinonia is a Wisconsin State-Certified and licensed Residential Treatment Center providing evidence based treatment to help heal minds, bodies and spirits of adults struggling with addiction and co-occurring disorders. The name “KOINONIA” is a Greek word meaning “FELLOWSHIP AROUND A COMMON GOAL.” The name was chosen to reflect the value placed on recovery by our Northwood’s residents and communit

ies. The meaning, however, started and remains today the center point of our recovery philosophy. Each patient's treatment is truly individualized and based on the person’s needs. We have a multidisciplinary treatment team using evidence-based treatment approaches, an emphasis on patient and family education, family programming twice a month, individual family therapy sessions and comprehensive case management/coordination of care.
