Weeping Willow Acres is an owner occupied 4-bed AFH with 18 years of experience with a wide variety of clients. We also provide respite care as needed.

We provide care for ambulatory adults while maintaining as much independence as possible.

Openings for permanent or respite clientsHello everybody!

I have been working in the health care field for 16 years, 5 years ago, I opened up my own Adult Family Home out in the country of Rice Lake. (Rusk County)

Being in the healthcare field, I know sometimes it is difficult to find someone to care for your loved ones on a permanent or even a temporary basis.

Not a lot of people know who is out there that can provide care or who has openings in their home. With that being said, I wanted to put it out there that I have openings in my 4 bed AFH and I do take in respite adult clients.

So, if you are ever in need of someone to care for your loved one, feel free to reach out to me.

Weeping Willow Acres Adult Family Home, has permanent and/or respite openings for a Male or Female individual.

We provide respite for up to 28 days at a time.

We are located outside of Rice Lake/Cameron in the country, with 15 years of experience.

We are very family oriented and treat all of our clients as family. We enjoy being outside; camping, fishing, traveling, sporting events and site seeing. If your loved one is not an outdoorsy person, that is just fine, as we also enjoy hanging out at home, watching movies, playing board games, baking or relaxing on the deck. - anything we can do to get our clients involved.

If you or someone you know is looking for some time away, or is looking for a new place to live and get some assistance while still being as independent as possible, let me know and we can set up a tour and a time to talk.

Who needs a job?

Pretty awesome boss ;)

Very laid back environment. Play games, do activities watch movies and just hang out with my residents most the weekend. Super easy and fun!

It's like being at your own home but with roommates that you have to supervise. Of course you need to clean, cook, pass medications, ocasional driving, keep everyone safe, listen to boring me and do some training.

If you have any training/certificates then it won't be AS boring. 😀

I'm super easy going just want a couple weekends a month to spend with my family and take my kids on adventures.

That means you'd come to my house Friday and stay until Sunday.

Ocasional weekday hours maybe available.

Pay is based on experience.

Weeping Willow Acres is looking to hire a caregiver for a 4 bed AFH. You can work every other weekend (Friday-Sunday, sleep at night) and have the rest of the days to spend with your family or work another job. Super flexible boss to work with and the residents are a hoot to care for. Very relaxed, family orientated, laid-back environment. Our goal is to keep our residents as independent as possible, while still providing and/or assisting with the following;

*Medication Administration
*Meal Preparation
*Light housekeeping
*Provide Companionship, and activities
*Some Transportation
*Giving Cues and Reminders

**Must have a valid driver’s license
**Training or Certificates preferred, but not required.

Pay is $400 for the weekend. (Friday-Sunday)
***Please do not come at me about the pay, as you do not know what this job entails and how laid back it truly is. Weeping Willow acres is not a big corporation, it is an owner-occupied facility and truly cannot afford to pay like other homes.

**UPDATE. When I say weekend, I mean you would typically come in at 4 pm on Friday and leave Sunday at 4pm. However, I am flexible with the start time. - Just whatever time you come in Friday is when you would leave Sunday. Also, on your paycheck it would be considered 32hrs. Hope this helps alleviate any confusion**
