Thank you to the anesthesia team at Marshfield Medical Center-Rice Lake for helping shape the future of rural health care!

Dr. Mark Weber (left) and Dr. Jeff Anderegg (center), anesthesiologists at Marshfield Medical Center-Rice Lake, were recently presented with the Team Teaching Award from the Wisconsin Academy of Rural Medicine (WARM) class of 2025.

The award is based on student nominations from learning experiences during their clinical rotations with Marshfield Clinic. The residency program at Marshfield Clinic has now graduated a total of 940 residents and 63 post-doctoral fellows since 1974. More than 100 of those graduates are caring for patients at Marshfield Clinic.

Stick it to the flu – get your flu vaccine.

Flu vaccines are now available across Marshfield Clinic locations. Self-schedule your appointment using your My Marshfield Clinic account, call your primary care provider or call our Vaccine Hotline at 715-387-5404 (Monday – Friday, 6:30 a.m. – 6 p.m.).

Receiving a flu vaccine each fall reduces your risk of getting sick and of experiencing severe complications. It also decreases the severity of illness if you do get the flu.

The MVP (Most Valuable Person) Award is a special recognition that allows patients to express their gratitude for team members who go above and beyond.

Many staff may not be aware that patients can nominate caregivers for this award. It's a meaningful way for them to share their appreciation and highlight the impact of compassionate care.
