Peyton's new wheelchair arrived and unfortunately it did not go as planned for fitting in the van and we will need to make some changes. She is so happy that this chair will give her some more independence.

Tomorrow is another foot surgery day for Peyton. Please say a little prayer that all goes well. We have to be in Eau Claire bright and early.

Just a few days away to celebrate Peyton. I would love to shower her with all the love and support so many of you have shared. We hope you can make it. There are so many of you that have prayed and supported her which helped make all of this possible. Thank you so much. We hope to see many of you on Sunday!

A day we never thought would happen is going to come! It may not be the same as everyone else's but Peyton is finishing thru our local tech school with her HSED on the recommendation of the high school. I'm so proud of her!

A day we never thought we would see come arrived last night. After many hurdles, tears, countless hours of dedication, and adaptations Peyton became a high school graduate!

Today we found out Peyton will be having foot surgery June 28th and after the one heals she will have the other done. This will be her third surgery since last May. Wednesday she also has a MRI of her neck. A few extra prayers for her would be appreciated. Thank you!!

Last week Peyton had to have a punch biopsy of her nose to determine what the sore is and why it isn't healing. She goes back Thursday to have her stitches removed. Her report came back and I am anxiously and impatiently awaiting the interpretation from the doctor which we will also get Thursday. Peyton also had to have a new GJ Tube placed last week after the balloon popped after less than a month.

Peyton Update:
Peyton has been having quite a few issues lately and needed some scopes done a couple weeks ago. They couldn't find the source of her bleeding and we will be speaking with GI again on Friday. She has also had numerous questionable labs. Today we met with Hematology/Oncology and Peyton will be having CT scans done of her chest, abdomen , and pelvis. Along with a Flow Cytometry, blood clotting tests, testing foe Von Willebrand as well as CML and AML which are two types of Leukemia. We are also having neuropyschology testing done in Marshfield on Friday to determine how the damage in her brain affects her. On a good note she is still healing well from her knee surgery. I don't share this information for sympathy but rather prayers for over the next few weeks as we try to navigate what is going on. Thank you.

I had such hi hopes for Christmas break to be relaxing. However, Peyton and I will be in Marshfield for apts, Eau Claire, and Rice Lake everyday for apts. Including an echocardiogram.

My Christmas wish for Peyton is to be pain and infection free. Currently Peyton is still recovering from knee surgery, battling a staph infection in her GJ Tube site, being scheduled for upper/lower scopes due to bleeding, dealing with some concerning labs, and trying to keep a smile on her face. We tried to brave the cold with her best friend to see Bentleyville in Duluth but unfortunately it didn't go well.
