I just learned that some people believe acupuncture is only for the back! Oh no! This is my second knee treatment of the day where we needle *into* the joint and supporting muscles. (Also contrary to popular belief that acupuncture only needles into the skin layers).

A knee treatment like this can help with post-surgical recovery, healing from an injury, arthritis, overuse, etc. It can reduce inflammation, improve blood flow, break up scar tissue, and promote healing in the area.

Other things we can treat from the front of your body are: allergies, headaches and migraines, stress, anxiety, insomnia, menstrual pain/irregularities, digestive/bowl issues, acid reflux, and SO MUCH MORE!

It's often hard to gauge whether or not acupuncture is "working" for you. I had a patient this week who was on her 4th visit for rheumatoid arthritis. She said that she *thought* it was working but didn't *know* it was working until she painted a detailed picture for hours on end without pain or losing grip strength.

I'm so happy that I can help her keep her hobbies! This is what it's all about.
