What a week for NETTwork Manufacturing, Inc. and EMS!

First, we co-sponsored the 4th Annual Eric F. Netter Memorial Fund Golf Tournament to support the expansion of skilled trades across Minnesota. This event has grown every year and was a perfect day for marshmallow chipping--into an EMS socket! Congratulations to our winners. Thanks to Tim Schmidt for all of your help!

On September 11th, we were honored to present to the RECOVER Team at the Minneapolis VA Medical Center. Special thanks to Bryan Kerby for telling the story of how EMS has changed his life; to Josh Morse for answering clinical questions; and to Aaron Netter for sharing our passion for serving .

Finally, I had the pleasure of attending in Charlotte, NC for an enlightening, informative and entertaining conference. Keynote speaker Jenn Andrews at the Women in O&P Luncheon was particularly moving; check out the work she's doing with the Foundation! It's encouraging to be a part of an industry with so many leaders, innovators and caregivers dedicated to making lives better. We'll see you in Orlando next year!

"What’s Going On: Songs From The Vietnam War Era" is a moving concert experience that incorporates live music, live narration and video to provide the audience a multi-media deep dive into the 60’s and early 70’s and of course, the Vietnam War. Through song and imagery this concert examines the tumultuous time period, but concludes on a note of hope and inspiration for a better tomorrow. As one Vietnam Veteran narrates during the show, “When we think of our divisions today, they pale in comparison to how badly we were divided back then”. A must-see Fabulous Armadillos production!

What is a hero? Is it those who have chosen to volunteer and serve our great nation? Is it those who run towards danger while others run away? Is it a small business owner that employs people in the community so they can provide for their families? Is it the dad who just suffered a recent amputation but made a promise to his daughter he would be able to walk her down the aisle? Not all heroes wear capes, however, for those few that have endured the tragic loss of a limb, they do wear the EMS - Enhanced Mobility Socket. The Enhanced Mobility Socket by EMS of Rice, MN improves the natural gait of a below the knee amputee. Golf enthusiast and amputee, Bryan Kurby explains how the EMS Socket System allows him proprioceptive awareness that mentally transforms his spatial movements with his prosthesis. He no longer walks with a noticeable limp, because he has an ability to feel connected to his prosthetic limb as if he had toes, an ankle and connected calf muscles.

Bryan explains how EMS has revolutionized his life experience as an amputee. Why choose EMS? Because this socket moves with you. It locks you in! EMS: Enhanced Mobility Socket.
