Everyone should care about what happens to our women in birth because it literally affects all of humanity. If women feel traumatized in birth, our children carry that experience on with them. That is how generational patterns can be created. If we don't make an intentional choice to give women back their freedom in birth the pattern continues.
I don't care how women choose to give birth. (Home birth, hospital, medicated, unmedicated, c section planned, unplanned. Makes little difference to my ability to help as a doula)
I care that they have a choice!!!

As a mother myself, I know the journey of having children can be difficult. 28 weeks into my first pregnancy my husband and I felt alone in the process. I did not feel my birth plan was accepted or valued by my physician. I felt a strong desire for my birth to mean more so I considered other options. I chose to have a midwife. That decision gave me a passion to provide the support mother and baby deserve, whatever ever your birth plan may be. My goal is to come along side you and your family to minimize how challenging and exhausting pregnancy can be.
My passion is to support the mothers of Renton and surrounding communities where I call home. I care deeply for the families in my care. Whatever birth you are hoping to have, I am committed to help you be as successful as possible. I hope to empower women during pregnancy, birth and thereafter.
Fathers play an important role in the birthing process as well and I am here to answer their questions too.
I have been a Massage Therapist since 2010, working predominantly with Injury Treatment /Medical Billing. I have a unique ability to work crucial areas of discomfort with wonderful success and accuracy.
