Dr. DeLeon's dementia lecture at Friends Place Adult Day Services was especially meaningful.
He shared his heart and expertise through Dementia Basics: Understanding, Caring, and Planning Ahead and Dementia FAQs using real-life scenarios. Teaching has always been close to his heart, not just as a physician, but as a professor.

What made the day even more touching was a chance reunion with a family member of one of his former patients, now a part of dementia care group at the facility. He shared how Dr. DeLeon would sit beside his wife during visits, taking time, listening, and truly caring. He also remembered how our back-office team supported them years ago with guidance and information whenever they needed it.

Moments like these remind us that compassionate care leaves a lasting impact far beyond the visit itself. 🤍
