Research is lacking on the subject of elderly abuse, exploitation and trafficking, and we are 50 years behind than in our knowledge of child abuse in the US. This week, our company CarePatrol of NE Dallas reached a milestone of growth! I want to thank my team and share this little quote to celebrate that. The irony is that as I make a little noise about growth, we have worked our core services quietly and feel good with every patient, client, or family member we've touched. We have so many stories we can't share. This quote reminded me of that. Listening to the crisis, giving hope, creating solutions and touching even those the society wouldn't spend a minute with. That's the power of a force that drives us...one person at a time, all in silence and that's okay.
