Preparing for Icy Weather in DFW ❄️

With icy conditions expected across the DFW area, Pathway Hospice encourages our patients, families, and caregivers to take a few simple steps to stay safe and comfortable:

✔️ Keep extra blankets and warm clothing nearby
✔️ Stock up on essential medications, food, and water
✔️ Charge phones and medical devices in case of power outages
✔️ Keep flashlights and extra batteries easily accessible
✔️ Drip faucets and open cabinet doors to help prevent frozen pipes
✔️ Avoid unnecessary travel and watch for slippery walkways
✔️ Check on elderly neighbors or loved ones
✔️ Keep emergency contact numbers easily accessible

Supporting our local veterans at Veterans Resource & Outreach Center and we were honored to have the Mayor of Rowlett Jeff Winget in attendance. This monthly resource fair for veterans happens the third Tuesday of each month. Thank you to Right at Home and Assisted Living Locators Northeast Dallas for sponsoring with us!
