🌍 Today is World Health Day 💚
Health is about so much more than what we can physically see.
Our physical health and mental/emotional health are deeply connected — when one is struggling, the other often feels it too. Stress, anxiety, depression, burnout, grief, and emotional overwhelm can show up in the body through fatigue, headaches, sleep disruption, tension, digestive issues, and more. And when we’re physically unwell, it can impact our mood, motivation, confidence, and overall emotional well-being.
Taking care of yourself means caring for your whole self.
That includes:
✔️ Scheduling regular medical check-ups
✔️ Paying attention to changes in your body
✔️ Honoring stress and emotional exhaustion
✔️ Reaching out for support when something feels “off”
✔️ Remembering that prevention and early care matter
Checking in on your health isn’t selfish — it’s a meaningful act of care.
This World Health Day, let this be your reminder to prioritize both your mind and body. You deserve support, healing, and care in every form.
If your emotional health has been weighing on you lately, therapy can be a powerful part of your overall wellness journey. 🤍
