Meltzer Counseling is privileged to be part of a collaborative community. Every Friday we participate with Richland Oaks Counseling for a 2 hour case consult. It’s an opportunity to support and learn from each other. Yesterday we were so fortunate to have guests for a lunch and learn. Mike Jones, Dr Brooke Keels and Grant Young from both Kind Psychiatry and Lighthouse Recovery. Kind Psychiatry was born from a conversation with Dr Lee Spencer on the limited access to psychiatric care in Texas. They have created a thoughtful team of both prescribers and front end intake to meet the needs of clients through insurance, reasonable self pay and the prescriber best suited for each client’s individual needs. To learn more check out Kindtexas.com https://lnkd.in/gX3cyiuq . Their mission aligns with both Meltzer Counseling and Richland Oaks to provide access to good considered care for clients. They can often schedule new patient appts within a week and provide after hours services. Their passion to provide the best care for their patients is evident both at Kind and Lighthouse. These relationships help us better serve our clients, their families and the community. We have clinicians with availability for both in person and telehealth. Major insurance, reasonable self pay and up to 12 free sessions for families in Dallas and Denton counties with children ages 6 to 17 through our Family Tree program. Several sliding scale options. Most appointments scheduled within 3 to 5 business days. Some evenings and weekend availability. Spanish speaking clinicians available. Www.meltzercounseling.com
