AEMI, Inc was established in 2016, to glorify God by proclaiming the Gospel, and showing the love of Jesus through mobile medical outreach, biblical discipleship training seminars, and helping orphan children (John 15:12-17).

We went to Lake Chinteche at Nkota Bay. There is a nice relaxing place that my husband John and I stayed at to relax. we had lunch at the Sunbird Inn.
We ventured out and took a boat ride. My first Ereck who is a native to the region is Tonga, was our tour guide. The boat had a few leaks but none the worse for the wear. 😅 Chloe and I got to see a few hippos enjoying a dip in the lake.
They are noted for their Chambo (a fresh water fish I think. Dont hold me to it). I ordered the great Chambo, but he was a little lean but was still tasty. I told the waiter we need to call him Chambo and drop the Great!😄
Here are a few pics of a protected UNESCO site Lake Nyssa now known as Lake Malawi. It is the 9th largest fresh water lake in the world.

Today our medical mission got was at Chibanja North. Mothers day in Malawi is a national holiday so school children were off and we got busier than expected. Working wifh a small mission team we worked well into the dark. Night fall is around 5:30pm here in Mzuzu. Here are a few pics from today.

Today we went to Masasa village near Mzuzu City. All our clinics start with devotions and a praise song. We had some help with our triage from a local heath intervention assistant named gift 🎁 who lived up to his name! The team was bagging and pulling medicines checking blood sugars and blood pressures. We saw 101 people today wrapping up real late. Our driver is taking us to our home 9:32 pm. Praising God for his wisdom strength and provision! He is with us!

Today we spent the afternoon at Mzuzu Baptist Church passing out new clothes, socks and shoes, and examining them with their caregiver. Most of them have no living parent and live with an auntie uncle or grandparent. Chloe enjoyed playing with them and getting to learn about their backgrounds. Most had never colored before. What fun they had!
Appreciate prayers for spiritual and physical strength this week.

Day 1, Friday October 10, 2025. This morning we went shopping for food at ShopRite, went to multiple wholesale pharmacies to find children’s suspensions, rapid lab tests, and a few other items for evangelical medical missions to rural areas that begin Sunday afternoon, Lord willing. Met with the pastor of Mzuzu Baptist and later had a meeting with the St Andrew’s CCAP to go over their needs and our itinerary for the time we have in Mzuzu Malawi this year. Later we came home cooked dinner together. How many spaghetti fans do we have out there? And had some wonderful discussions over dinner. Later we unpacked 5 suitcases chalked full of several different items for ministering to those whom the Lord brings to our evangelical medical clinics this year. Tomorrow we begin meeting orphan children and their guardians at 2pm. Please continue to pray for little hearts to be healed and opened as we share the love of Jesus Christ with them.

“The heavens declare the glory of God, and the sky his handiwork.
Day to day pour out speech
And night to night reveals knowledge.
There is no speech, nor are there words, whose voice is not heard.
There voice goes out through all the Earth. And their words to the end of the world.
In them, he has set a tent for the sun, who comes out like a bridegroom, leaving his chamber, and like a strong man runs, its course with joy …” vs 1-5.

Traveling on Delta Airlines early in the morning watching the sun awaking and getting ready to run its course today was absolutely beautiful.

Next Wednesday at 0600 we travel to Mzuzu, Malawi. A 23 hour flight with a 3 1/2 hour drive north through the mountains to the central north region. Please pray for us, for another young lady who is joining me this mission and our volunteer team who will be serving the Lord with im Mzuzu, Malawi.

We are grateful to God for our partners in Malawi, at St. Andrews CCAP, and Mzuzu Baptist Church. We also have a special group of Anglical Sisters that we always greet who am sure will be looking forward to seeing us again this year too!
