Our company model is to employ the finest staff and nurses and maintain their knowledge base with specific and ongoing training. We use automated software for charting and scheduling to give our clients and nurses full access to pertinent information. The software also reduces human error, time and waste. This month, Exceptional Kids Texas beautifully honored Zachary Wiederhold, our late patient who was born with semi-lobar holoprosencephaly (HPE)—a rare brain malformation where survival beyond infancy is uncertain. Zachary lived an incredible 30 years, full of love, laughter, and unwavering strength. Exceptional kids name the article "The Smile That Spoke Volumes." And if you knew Zachary, you know how true those words are. He didn’t need words to connect with people—his joy, his strength, and that unforgettable smile said it all.

We are incredibly grateful to have been a part of his journey. He taught us so much about resilience, love, and the power of presence. His legacy continues to inspire us every day. 💙
