It's hard to learn on an empty stomach. We're so grateful to MC Criminal Law for supporting our students!
This Giving Tuesday, MC Criminal Law is proud to support The Counseling Place and its life-changing Project Positive Diversion Program.
Messina and Debbie, Executive Director of The Counseling Place, go way back — and when we learned more about Project Positive, we knew it aligned perfectly with our values and with what we hope for the young people who come through our doors.
Project Positive doesn’t just “check a box.” Classes are personalized for each student — instructors learn each child’s goals, dreams, interests, and struggles. Many participants are overcoming trauma, food insecurity, or difficult home environments. Some have credited the program with helping them stay in school, graduate, and even pursue college and careers (including nursing school!).
A powerful but simple way to help right now?
Many students come to class straight from school — hungry. Your donation of a Chick-fil-A eGift card helps provide a hot meal instead of just a snack so that they can focus on what matters most: learning and moving forward.
