I’m an optometrist specializing in the care of patients with EDS (Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome), POTS (Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome), and MCAS (Mast Cell Activation Syndrome) who often struggle with Binocular Vision Dysfunction (BVD).
BVD can cause a wide range of life-disrupting symptoms, including:
Dizziness and balance problems
Headaches and migraines
Anxiety and motion sickness
Light sensitivity
Difficulty with driving, walking, or reading
These symptoms can be overwhelming, and many patients don’t realize that vision is at the root of their struggles.
