Kelsey Sieg, OD, FOVDR attended the annual Optometric Vision Development and Rehabilitation conference this year in Louisville, KY. OVDRA brings together leaders of developmental optometry, vision therapy and rehabilitative care for a week of continuing education and inducts the new fellows at the banquet! Dr. Sieg and her vision therapist, Abbey, returned energized with new insights and advanced training to better support our patients’ visual needs.

We’re proud to share that Dr. Sieg recently completed her Fellowship in Optometric Vision Development and Rehabilitation - Kelsey Sieg, OD, FOVDR.
Over the last three years, she has worked hard to deepen her knowledge of developmental and rehabilitative care for our patients. Through mentorship and board review, she has further expanded her expertise in all aspects of behavioral vision care.

The Minnesota Brain Injury Conference was a success! There were 100+ in attendance to Dr. Wallerich’s session on the latest treatment, vision therapy, for mild traumatic brain injury patients with convergence insufficiency and accommodative dysfunction per the CONCUSS study protocol. This is a multi-site randomized clinical trial for patients with mild brain injury and convergence insufficiency. A special thank you to the collaborative team of Dr. Mitchell Scheiman of Drexel University for making this research and clinical study a success!

The 2026 MARP Spring Conference, held on April 10 at Brookview Golf Course in Golden Valley, MN, focused on advancing knowledge in rehabilitation, vocational assessment, and brain injury care, our Dr. Michael Wallerich was presenting ''Neuro-Optometry – Eye and Vision Related Dysfunctions following Concussions''. The event also included networking breaks, vendor engagement, and door prizes, creating a collaborative and positive atmosphere. Speaker feedback afterward suggested strong engagement and a successful turnout.
