What I'm about to share changed the course of my life. It's also a BIG reason why I'm committed to paying it forward to the local community.
One day when I was working in the corporate world, I was sitting in front of my computer when I felt this shooting pain going across my head. The pain became so intense that I reached for my Costco-sized bottle of migraine medication. The pain became more intense and my vision became so blurry that I couldn’t see the screen in front of me. All I could think about was curling up in my bed and falling asleep. As I drove home early from work, the pain continued to get worse. My vision started blacking out on my right and left side so that I could only see a small tunnel in front of me. I prayed that I wouldn’t get into an accident, but nothing would stop me from going home. That day I was able to sleep off the migraine after a few hours of sleep. Over the next few weeks and months, my migraines continued worsening that I started not only taking my sick time but also vacation time.
