Dr. Rupnow grew up in Oconomowoc, Wisconsin. She attended the University of Minnesota for undergraduate, where she fell in love with the Twin Cities. After graduating from Indiana University School of Optometry in 1994, she returned to the Twin Cities. She worked primarily in Ophthalmology practices until she opened Family Vision Clinic of Farmington in 2007. She sold the clinic in 2024 in order to practice Optometry and enjoy being a doctor again without business ownership.

She is looking forward to getting to know the patients at Downtown Eyes!

we recycle contacts! ♻️ all used packaging, lenses, cases and boxes! Through (via ) we collect and send in all & any brand of contact lens small plastics to a recycling facility.

FUN FACT: contact lens plastic from this program was used to make a dog park for seeing eye dogs. 🥹🦮 how amazing!
