✨Introducing✨ Dr. Anne Tobyne! She will be filling in at our Richfield clinic while Dr Hemann is out on maternity leave!
Dr. Tobyne grew up in Burnsville, Minnesota, and went to high school at the Academy of Holy Angels. She went on to complete her undergraduate degree at Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She then received her Doctorate in Optometry from the Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago where she was President of the Student Volunteers of Optometric Service to Humanity and a member of the Gold Key International Honor Society. She has a passion for helping the underserved population with vision care and has helped to open a sustainable vision center in Rwanda and has been to Thailand and Morocco to give eye exams and distribute glasses to those in need. She is also focused on specialty contact lens fittings and myopia management for kids.
She is moving back to Minnesota to be closer to family after spending the last 7 years in Maine working at a private practice and serving on the Maine Optometric Association. She is excited to be back in the Midwest and getting reacquainted with her home state while she fills in for her former classmate Dr. Hemann while she is out on her maternity leave. In her free time she enjoys traveling, trying out new restaurants, spending time outdoors with her husband Ben and their two Goldendoodles, Olive and Aioli!
