Background: Dr. Pitts was an Audiologist at Park Nicollet for 6 years before joining us.
About Dr. Pitts: Dr. Pitts truly enjoys being able to give patients better communicative abilities with their friends and loved ones. She loves seeing the difference in quality of life that hearing brings to patients and their families. When she is not at work, she enjoys spending time with her husband, four children, and two dogs. Her and her family are actively involved in their church and spend time hiking and biking together.
Allison Werler, AuD, CCC-A
Education: Doctorate in clinical Audiology from Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center: New Orleans, Louisiana.
Certifications: Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A), Licensed by the State of Minnesota
Background: Dr. Werler is from south Louisiana where she completed graduate school. She has over five years of experience working as a clinical audiologist.
About Dr. Werler: Allison enjoys being part of giving people their hearing back and seeing the positive impact it makes on their life. She lives a busy and active life with her husband and two young children. She enjoys taking daily walks with her family, spending weekends at their cabin, and driving through the local Dairy Queen. When she gets a minute for herself, she enjoys working in her garden and trying new recipes.
Martha Takata, AuD, CCC-A
Education: Doctorate in clinical Audiology from University of Minnesota, Twin Cities
Certifications: Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A), Licensed by the State of Minnesota
Background: Dr. Takata experienced her own hearing loss at age 50 and became very intrigued about hearing loss and hearing aids. She decided to go back to school to become an audiologist so that she could help others with their hearing loss. She has been with us for over 6 years now.
About Dr. Takata: With a large family Dr. Takata is no stranger to noisy environments. Her and her husband have seven children and seven grandchildren they enjoy spending their time with. Dr. Takata is passionate about volunteering and has done three hearing mission trips to Africa. She is also active and adventurous and enjoys canoeing and camping in the Boundary Waters.
Kelsey Tonsfeldt, Director of Audiology
Education: BA in Communications & Marketing from the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities
Background: Kelsey has over 12 years of business and marketing experience in the healthcare industry. She also worked at GN ReSound, one of the top hearing aid manufacturers for over 5 years. It was at ReSound that her knowledge of the hearing industry started and her passion to work in audiology grew. Kelsey worked closely with private practice audiology clinics in aspects of business, marketing, and practice development.
About Kelsey: Kelseyβs passion for working in the field of audiology came from seeing what advanced hearing technology can do for patients and how vastly it can improve their lives. She enjoys trips to the cabin with her husband and four active sons. Kelsey enjoys spending time with her close friends, traveling, and is a huge hockey fan.
Jacey Carlisle, Audiology Care Coordinator
Education: Associates in Business Management, Pursuing Bachelorβs at Concordia University
Certifications: Certified Hearing Aid Technician
Background: Before joining our team, Jacey was an audiology assistant at Park Nicollet audiology clinic for 3 years. She handled many aspects of the hearing clinic and ran the walk-in hearing aid clinic there assisting patients with hearing aid repairs and cleanings.
About Jacey: Jacey enjoys working in audiology because it gives her the chance to help people who want to be able to hear all the joyful things in life again. She is recently married and in her free time enjoys baking, crafting, outdoor activities, and visiting state parks.
