Greetings Half Moon Yoga community,

As we step into March, there’s a quiet shift happening beneath the surface.

Not the full bloom of spring just yet, but a soft warming of the soil. A sense that something new is possible, without needing to rush it.

I’ve been thinking of this season as a slow unfolding:
January invited us to rest.
February asked us to love- ourselves, our people, our practices.
And March… March is where we begin to plant.

Planting doesn’t mean forcing growth. It means listening. Feeling what’s ready. Choosing intentions with care, and placing them gently into the ground of our lives.

In our yoga practice this month, we’ll honor that same rhythm. Moving deliberately. Pausing when needed. Letting strength and softness coexist. Giving space for clarity to emerge rather than chasing it.

This is a month for tending, not rushing.
For showing up consistently, not perfectly.
For trusting that what you nurture now will grow in its own time.

You’re welcome exactly as you are, in whatever stage of becoming you find yourself.

The Sanctuary at Richfield is an invitation to slow down and return to yourself. This space is devoted to intentional practices that support nervous system regulation, deep listening, and embodied awareness. Here, movement is spacious, breath is primary and presence is the practice.

• reconnect with simple, supportive rituals

Yoga isn’t about fixing yourself.
It’s about learning how to stay with yourself.

Through breath, movement, and stillness, we practice listening
to sensation, to limits, to what’s being asked for in this moment.

Self-care in yoga looks like:
• choosing rest when the body asks for rest
• meeting effort without force
• honoring boundaries without guilt
• offering yourself the same patience you offer others

This is self-love in action.
Not indulgence. Not avoidance.
Just presence, honesty, and care.

What we practice on the mat becomes how we live
with more compassion, steadiness, and trust in ourselves.

A grounding yet energizing practice designed to cultivate steadiness, clarity, and harmony, mirroring the equal light and dark of the equinox.

1:30–2:00 PM | Nourishment & Community
Enjoy a mindful meal and gentle connection as we pause to refuel and integrate.

This 60 minute experience is designed to help you release the week, boost your energy, and reconnect with joy without forcing anything. Through a gentle blend of laughter yoga, mindful breathwork, and an accessible yoga flow, we create space for the body to soften and the heart to open.

The quiet medicine of heart openers

Heart-opening postures aren’t about pushing the chest forward or forcing ourselves to feel more.
They’re an invitation to create space- physically, energetically, emotionally.

When we gently open the front body, we support:
• deeper, fuller breaths
• release of stored tension in the shoulders and upper back
• improved posture and circulation
• stimulation of the heart and lungs
• a softening of protective patterns held around the chest

On a subtler level, heart openers remind the nervous system that it’s safe to receive, safe to soften, safe to stay open to life as it is.

This isn’t about vulnerability as performance.
It’s about meeting yourself with honesty, steadiness, and care.

We open not to become more…
