Regina Health Center’s Pet Therapy team, Maureen and Gia were kind enough to provide our Residents with Easter cut-out cookies and decorating supplies for a fun and tasty afternoon activity! Clearly we were not incredibly exciting to Gia, our "Pet Mascot Bully Bunny" who slept most of the time! HaHa 🤣

Holy Saturday feels quiet… but quiet doesn’t mean absent. It’s the space between what was and what God is about to do. The waiting. The unknown. The stillness. And yet… God is working.

“Be still, and know that I am God.” — Psalms 46:10

If today feels slow or uncertain, don’t rush it. Sometimes the most powerful thing you can do is be still… and trust Him.

What are you trusting God with in this season of waiting?

Lord Jesus, on this sacred Good Friday morning, I come before You in humble adoration. I gaze upon Your holy sacrifice, Your love poured out on the Cross for my salvation.

In the silence, I adore You… wounded for my sins, yet full of mercy and grace. Fill my heart with gratitude, repentance, and deep love for You.

Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament, I trust in Your presence. Heal my soul, strengthen my faith, and draw me closer to Your Sacred Heart.

May this day remind me to carry my own cross with Courage, and to love as You have loved—completely and sacrificially.

I adore You, O Christ, and I blesYou,
because by Your Holy Cross, You have redeemed the world. Amen.

The Mass of the Lord's Supper is a Holy Week service celebrated on the evening of Maundy Thursday. It inaugurates the Easter Triduum, and commemorates the Last Supper of Jesus with his disciples, more explicitly than other celebrations of the Mass.
On behalf of Regina Health Center we offer a warm thanks to all of those who made this a very special mass, our Pastoral Care Department Director Mary Takacs, Amy Cramer, Celebrant Fr. Jamie Mazanec, Organist & Song Leader Sr. Maryanne Quinlivin, OSU, Lector Sr. Judith Ann Karam, CSA and wonderful volunteers. Adoration was held until 7pm.

“I give you a new commandment says the Lord: Love one another as I have loved you.”

Our Nursing Team is excited to use new vital poles while caring for our residents! The purchase of the vital poles was made possible by a very generous grant
Regina Health Center received earlier this year from the DONALD D LYNCH FAMILY FOUNDATION.

We are fortunate to have many donors and grant funders, like the Donald D. Lynch Family Foundation, who support our mission of providing holistic and compassionate health care to retired Religious, clergy and lay people.

🌿 Palm Sunday! 🌿

Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord. Palm Sunday marking the start of Holy Week. Celebrated the Sunday before Easter, it recalls crowds laying palm 🌿 branches and cloaks on the road to honor Jesus as King. He rode a donkey 🫏 rather than a warhorse, symbolizing his mission of peace ☮️ humility, and salvation ✝️

As we enter this meaningful week, here is a simple reminder of what happens each day:
Palm Sunday – Jesus’ triumphal entry into Jerusalem

Holy Monday – Jesus cleanses the temple

Holy Tuesday – Jesus teaches and strengthens His disciples

Holy Wednesday – Judas’ betrayal

Maundy Thursday – The Last Supper and washing of the disciples’ feet 👣

Good Friday – The crucifixion ✝️ and death of Jesus

Black Saturday – A day of silence, waiting, and reflection

Easter Sunday – Jesus rises again, victory over death

May this Holy Week bring peace to our hearts 💟 our world 🗺️ and strengthen our faith. 🙏✨
Have a blessed Holy Week, everyone!

Regina Health Center held its second annual Easter Egg hunt. The activities team wants to give a special thank you to Diane Nagy, the Richfield Branch Library community, staff, residents and all of the wonderful families for coming out in the chilly spring temperatures to race for eggs throughout our Madonna Garden.
Afterwards there were prizes, light refreshments and good times were had by all!
