🐰💐 The Easter Bunny Brings Smiles to The Richland Hospital 💐🐰

Easter was a little brighter at our hospital thanks to a special visitor hopping through the halls! The Easter Bunny surprised patients and staff throughout the facility, sharing smiles, spreading cheer, and handing out small treats.

One Emergency Department patient shared just how meaningful the visit was:
“The Easter Bunny visited me! I couldn't believe it. I loved it so much! It even brought me a treat. I sure wasn't feeling the best today, especially because I had to come to the ER on Easter. But that bunny made my day.”

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who worked on Easter- your compassion and dedication truly made a difference.

And a special shoutout to our one-and-only Easter Bunny, Susan Brill, from Revenue Cycle Informatics. Susan goes above and beyond all year long to advocate for our patients and exemplifies our mission of Patients Above All Else in so many ways- including spreading joy as the Easter Bunny! 💙

Healthy Deviled Eggs with a Twist - our Recipe of the Month!
Amy Hergert, one of our ace physical therapists, loves coloring eggs with her family and turning the extras into delicious, deviled eggs! Her healthier spin? Swap the recommended ⅓ cup mayo for half mayo and half plain Greek yogurt.
Add 2 Tbsp pickle relish or diced dill pickles, 1½ tsp Dijon mustard, salt, and pepper, then mix with the yolks from 12 hard‑boiled eggs. Pipe into the egg whites and finish with a sprinkle of paprika.

If you happen to have an appointment at The Richland Hospital and Clinics on any given Wednesday between 8 AM and noon, chances are good you'll be greeted by Rita Young-Gulsrud and Betty Havlik, two of our treasured volunteers. They're quick with stickers for kids, even letting them take one for their sibling at home. "It's so nice to see the impact a warm hello can have on someone's day," offers Betty, who once worked at the front desk. "I am so lucky to work beside my friend whom I have known since we were kids," adds Rita. We're so thankful for both of you!

No Fooling! New Lobby Shoppe hours start today.

Beginning this week, the Lobby Shoppe at the Richland Hospital and Clinics will be open Monday through Friday, from 10 AM to 2 PM. Stop in to find amazing spring finds, check out festive Easter options, and enjoy a few seasonal sales. The store is located on the first floor, right inside the main doors. Carolyn (pictured above), is ready to help you discover the perfect gifts, or a little treat for yourself.
