Howdy Ya'll... just kidding.🤣

Hey! So it's been pretty consistent that I am booked out 2 weeks for the most part.

So if you text for a color, perm or hair extensions just know it's likely it's 1.5 to 2 weeks out to get in. Maybe even for waxing or haircuts on some weeks.

I know many of you are use to getting in next week from the time you text but it's just to busy now. Yeah for me but u know it's sad for you.

I will do everything I can to get you in though. Love you all and thank you for understanding.

Starting in April, there will be a small adjustment to my chemical hourly rate to reflect increased product costs. It's been 2 years since my last increase.

Non-chemical services are not changing.

New rate is $69 per hour.

I used to think my hair growing 13 inches a year was a curse.
Roots in two weeks, constant upkeep, never a moment to breathe.
But after months of high-dose D3, everything changed — dry skin, shedding, lashes falling out, texture shifting, and growth slowing.

It’s been a few weeks since stopping the D3, and today I saw something I didn’t realize I needed:

Proof that healing is not instant, but it’s happening.
My hair has always been the loudspeaker of my health.
When something is off internally, it shows me before I even know what to call it.

Baby hairs like confetti.
A steady return to myself, inch by inch.

🌟 Behind the Chair Reality Check 🌟

Today was one of those BIG transformation days — the kind that takes patience, precision, and a lot of time.

This look took just under 6 hours, and by the end I was honestly too tired to even remember to take a picture 😅
(Which is rare for me — but that’s how you know it was a marathon!)

Even without the photo, trust me… it turned out beautiful, and my client left glowing. That’s the part that matters most.

Just a little reminder for anyone dreaming of a major color change:

✨ Transformations take time.
✨ They require multiple steps and a whole lot of care.
✨ Healthy hair ALWAYS comes first.
✨ And nope — previous colors don’t magically disappear in one session.

I love creating these looks, but they’re truly an art project, not a quick appointment.

I had a 9 yr client today for the first time. She had so many mats in her hair. I could get it all combed out except for the left side of her hair. After 1.5 hrs of combing her dad finally said to cut the mat out and then cut her hair to look kind of better. Which the mat was on the top of her head. I tried to save as much as I could but....

Her hair was damaged from it being matted for 3 weeks.

There is no reason for this to happen.

This child doesn't have depression or mental limitations. What this child has is laziness and lack of care to really brush her hair well cause it's boring.

Unless you know as a parent that without doubt that your child knows how to care for her hair and actually does... you need to brush their hair after they said they did to be sure it's brushed.

$100 dollars later she now has shoulder length hair with shorts pieces on one side.

9 year olds can be mature but young 9 yr Olds are not. Know your child. This one is is very much a young 9 yr old.
