Rise Community Ask – Speech & PT Equipment

As we expand Speech and Physical Therapy services at Rise, we’re working to build our assessment library and treatment space thoughtfully and sustainably.

We are currently looking for:

• CELF-5 assessment kit (new or gently used)
• Other speech-language assessment tools
• Pediatric AND adult hi-low treatment table (electric preferred)

Speech assessments can range from: $800–$1,500+ per tool.
PT evaluation tools can range from $500–$1,500.
Hi-low treatment tables often cost $3,000–$5,000.

We are a small private practice (not a nonprofit), so we don’t qualify for many grant opportunities — but we remain deeply committed to equitable access to high-quality care.

Clinic Update | Opening at 12:00 PM Today ******

Hello Rise Community,

As shared earlier, we were closed this morning (Friday, 1/23/26) due to weather. At this time, we plan to open today at 12:00 PM.

If you have an appointment at 12:00 PM or later and do not plan to attend, please let us know as soon as possible.

We understand the weather is still impacting travel, and there will be no penalty for weather-related cancellations today.

Additionally, if you missed an appointment earlier this week due to weather and would like to try to be seen today, we have limited openings available. Please contact us as soon as possible if you’d like to be added.

Adjusted Hours – Community Update
We’re keeping a close eye on weather and road conditions and want to share a gentle update for tomorrow 1-23-26. 🤍

For now:

- Morning sessions are canceled

- We are hoping to hold therapy sessions starting at 12:00 PM and later

-We’ll reassess conditions and communicate an update by 10:00 AM to confirm whether afternoon sessions will move forward.

Learn practical, everyday strategies to understand stress, calm your nervous system, and support regulation in real life. This session is interactive, supportive, and designed for adults navigating busy, demanding schedules.

Beginning February 1, Kinsey Harrison, MS, CCC-SLP joins our team full time, expanding how we support communication, connection, and confidence.

Hello! My name is Gracelynn Miller. I am a licensed Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant and a proud graduate of Grand Rapids Community College. I have gained experience in inpatient mental health, outpatient pediatrics, and school-based settings.

My approach is rooted in patience, creativity, and a passion for supporting individuals in gaining independence in daily activities. Guided by my faith, I strive to provide compassionate, thoughtful care while continuously learning and refining my skills.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, being outdoors in nature, traveling, reading, and baking. I was fortunate to complete my Level II fieldwork at Rise Therapy & Wellness, and I am so excited to be back as part of the team!
