Hanan was born from my story 🫀
from the heart of a daughter of immigrants
who grew up learning resilience, compassion, and the importance of community care.

Everything I do through Hanan
is connected to the sacrifices my parents made,
the barriers they faced,
and the strength they passed on to me.

That is why giving back feels sacred.

Over the years, we’ve supported children in Mexico with toys, school supplies, Día de Reyes gifts, food, hygiene essentials, and warm blankets.
We’ve supported postpartum mothers, migrant families, and offered low-cost therapy to those who needed someone to show up for them.

Because I know what it feels like to carry responsibility at a young age.
Because I know what it feels like to grow up without access.
Because I know that healing becomes powerful when it reaches others.

Hanan is my way of honoring where I come from,
honoring my parents’ journey,
and honoring every person who has ever needed help but didn’t know where to turn.

Thank you to everyone who believes in this mission, to everyone person who collaborates with me, colleagues, friends, clients, and anyone who has participated in our work.

I never thought I’d be the person floating in the sky on a hot air balloon. I’ve always been afraid of heights, my legs shake, my stomach drops.

But this time, I said to myself: how can I ask others to face their fears if I keep letting mine hold me back? you can’t keep letting fear decide what you experience in this life. So I listened.

I did it heart racing, palms sweaty, but smiling the whole way through.

Lo hice con miedo… pero lo hice. And it was one of the most beautiful experiences I’ve witnessed ✨🥹
