Hi, Iām LoveroopšŖ“
Iām a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist in Washington and Oregon. I enjoy working with individuals and families who are ready to set boundaries, heal unhealthy patterns, and step into their power. Over the past decade, I have worked with children, teens, parents, and adults through emotionally unstable times.
From helping clients work through anxiety via exposure therapy to creating safety plans for clients who have felt suicidal, I have had a wide range of experience over the years and am grateful to have the opportunity to walk alongside my clients as they have navigated through these storms. Life changes can be scary. Emotions can be scary. The good news? You donāt have to walk through them alone.
I am the eldest daughter of Punjabi parents who immigrated to America to build a better future for their children. Growing up in America while being raised in a traditional Indian household, I have lived experience of being in the grey area. It can be overwhelming as you form your identity in both cultures. Many first generation children (and adults) feel similarly and together, we can work through these dual cultural challenges.
On this page, youāll find a mix of:
⨠Mental health awareness
⨠What healthy emotional regulation looks like
⨠Reflections on navigating dual cultural identities
⨠Encouragement to help you become the main character in your own story
Outside of the therapy room, I enjoy reading, being out in nature, and photography as I believe healing isnāt just about surviving ā itās about reclaiming joy, voice, and creativity šæ
Iām so glad youāre here. Letās grow, heal, and thrive together!
