Monthly CE at ABE Massage School. These are the most requested courses. There is no fancy name for these classes, no recipe, no protocol. This work is rooted in kinesiological understanding, palpation skills, understanding what you are feeling under the hands, proper positioning and body mechanics, and moving the tissue and the body to achieve the outcomes that will change the spatial relationship of tissues in the body and bring clients through your door.

Brenda Wiesner, LMT is the owner of Advanced Bodywork Education Massage School and a 1996 graduate of Seattle Massage School. She attributes her understanding of the body to time spent in equine medicine and human pathology. She has assisted on close to 100 autopsies at Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center and is a graduate of Tom Meyer's Kinesis Myofascial Structural Integration program in 2003.

Second term slow down in effect. Students are working around abdominal attachments, learning to listen and move glacially. Good things come to those that wait and there is nothing better than seeing the progress that comes from a good symbiotic relationship! Great job students.

When in doubt, bring the clay out! Clarifying kinesiology is a top priority at ABE Massage School and Clinic. A solid grip on kinesiology is necessary to be the best practitioner possible. If you didn't get those foundations in your program, stay tuned! We have opportunities for LMTs to pick up those Kinesiology concepts that may have been missed the first time around.
