It may also cause damage to the underlying bone. One option for replacing lost teeth is an endosteal implant, which is often referred to as a dental implant.

She is an oral health crusader who believes in preserving one’s natural teeth and strives to deliver conservative therapies, all while respecting the values, beliefs, and time of her patients.
Born and raised in Romania, Dr Cristescu lived in Vancouver, Canada before finally making her way to the United States in 2001.
Prior to earning her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Washington in 2012, she was a dental hygienist for 5 years in Bellevue, WA.

Fun facts:

✨She has 3 daughters: 20 y old Sophie (in College in Boston) and identical twins Kennedy & Harper (5th graders at Christ the King Catholic School)
✨She was an affiliate instructor in the department of restorative dentistry at the University of Washington School of Dentistry
✨She owned her own practice for over a decade on the Westside
✨Dr Alex loves animals! Her family has 2 dogs, 2 cats, and 2 horses.
