You might wonder why dental X-rays are sometimes recommended during your child’s visit. While we can see a lot during a regular exam, X-rays allow us to look beneath the surface and spot things that aren’t visible to the eye.
They help us monitor how adult teeth are developing, check for cavities between teeth, and make sure everything is growing just the way it should. The process is quick, safe, and uses very low levels of radiation designed specifically for children.
At Smile Surfers, we only recommend X-rays when they’re truly helpful for your child’s care. They’re an important tool that helps us keep growing smiles healthy and strong! 🌊
