Please share! This new program has openings available! If you’re looking for a respite/social opportunity for your child ages 12 to 22, or for families that you serve, here is a great option. They are open and ready to serve those of all abilities, including those with higher needs and behaviors!🤩

A new kind of after-school fun is here! Meet Nexus Youth Club, a place where creativity, friendship and independence come to life for youth ages 12–22 with developmental or intellectual disabilities.

🎨 What’s Happening at Nexus:
Arts & crafts • Cooking • Music • Adaptive e-gaming • Gardening • Group games • Community outings & more!

📍 Location: Columbia Ability Alliance Community Center, 900 S Dayton St, Kennewick
🕒 Hours: Monday–Friday, 3:30–6:30 PM
✅ Who Can Join: Ages 12–22, enrolled in school, with a documented disability
💲 Funding Options: DDA respite care & private pay accepted
🚗 Transportation: Family drop-off/pick-up or Dial-A-Ride
📅 Enrollment is open now!

Are you a parent or caregiver of someone with intellectual or developmental disabilities? Join us for Navigating IDD: Housing Options for Loved Ones with I/DD NEXT WEDNESDAY, the 5th via Zoom from 7pm to 8:30pm. In this session, Rachel Nemhauser, Director of Information and Family Support will discuss various housing options for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD). Get insights into available resources, strategies, and opportunities to help create safe and supportive living environments for your loved ones.
