OUR PHILOSOPHY & STAFF
Everyone experiences difficulty and confusion at some point in life, and we are honored to partner with you to discover workable solutions, healthier relationships, and a deeper faith on your journey through these challenging times. To ensure that your experience with Response Care is beneficial, we ask that you carefully read the following information:
PHILOSOPHY
Our couns
eling teams are committed to helping people live healthy lives. We are committed to God, believing that He is the ultimate counselor, and we are the instruments used. The pastoral counseling offered at Response compassionately and competently integrates biblical truths with mental health concepts and techniques. This approach, we believe, will give you the greatest benefit on your journey. STAFF / INTERNS
Our staff is made-up of caring volunteers who have experience in dealing with many of life’s toughest challenges. They invest in on-going training and supervision to provide you with the support you need. Our Response team periodically uses the services of Mental Health professionals and interns. The professionals volunteer their time and are not acting under the auspices of their licenses. The interns are working on graduate or undergraduate degrees and are trained and supervised by Response Care staff and their school program. OUR HELPING PROCESS
The goals of the helping process are to enable you to explore your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, to facilitate your relationship with God, others, and develop whole-person wellness. These are best accomplished with open, honest communication in an atmosphere of trust and confidentiality. Understand, it is common to feel a wide range of emotions during this process. These are normal and may be valuable signs of progress. We invite you to explore with us ways to grow and change in a productive manner. HELP PROCESS
