Next Friday night, we will be hosting our VERY FIRST doula speed dating night! Meet a panel of local birth and postpartum doulas. Ask any questions you may have, and MAYBE even leave having met the perfect person to come alongside you on your birthing journey.

A birth doula is someone who assist you with coping mechanisms and overall support doing the labor and birth of your child. They are there to help you understand and review ALL of your options during your birth. Doulas are NOT medical professionals.

A postpartum doula is there to assist you AFTER the birth once you are home. Some offer overnight assistance where others may only be available during the day. They can make meals, do laundry and light housework, and help with recovery and breastfeeding.

Whatever you need during your birthing journey, a doula is there to help you through it all!

Come out and see if any of our birth professionals are the right choice for you!

Since the launch of the Childbirth & Breastfeeding Demonstration Act, MBRNPC has been working to help Military Families and Service Members have better access to doula support. We are very pleased with the changes being made and will continue to advocate for things that need to be addressed. We are grateful to all the voices involved in making these updates.
