You’re exhausted, foggy, maybe your hair’s thinning, your mood is low, and your cycle’s a mess.

It sounds like hypothyroidism—but here’s the catch:

Some of the most common symptoms of thyroid issues are also caused (or made worse) by nutrient deficiencies.

🧠 Brain fog?

🥱 Fatigue?

💇‍♀️ Hair loss?

😣 Anxiety or depression?

🩸 Irregular or heavy periods?

These can all show up when your thyroid is struggling or when your body is low in key nutrients like:

🔹 Iron

🔹 Ferritin

🔹 B12

🔹 Selenium

🔹 Magnesium

🔹 Vitamin D

🔹 Zinc

The problem?

Most doctors don’t check these unless you specifically ask—and even then, they may use “normal” ranges that don’t reflect optimal health.

And they’re solely relying on blood testing for these levels (this may not be accurate enough.)

So if you’re being told “everything looks fine” but you don’t feel fine...
It might not be just your thyroid—it might be what your thyroid (and your whole body) is missing.

✨ Let’s talk protein powder… because if you’re like me, you’ve probably tried so many that either taste terrible, upset your stomach, or are full of junk you can’t even pronounce.

That’s why I’m so excited about @‌equipfoods protein. 💛

Here’s why it’s a game-changer:

✔️ Gluten free – no hidden grains or fillers
✔️ Dairy free – gentle on sensitive guts
✔️ No added sugar – sweetened naturally or left plain so you control the flavor
✔️ Simple, clean ingredients – nothing artificial, just real food your body recognizes and uses

And the best part? It actually tastes so good. No chalky texture, no weird aftertaste, and it blends perfectly into smoothies, coffee, or just shaken up with water. 🙌

For anyone dealing with autoimmune issues, gut sensitivities, or simply wanting to keep their body free of unnecessary toxins, this is one of the cleanest protein powders I’ve found.

✨ Your body deserves fuel it can trust—and that you’ll actually enjoy drinking!

When dealing with thyroid and hormone issues, it can definitely be overwhelming.

Here’s the truth most people don’t tell you:

🌿 Eating whole, nutrient-dense foods
😴 Prioritizing rest + quality sleep
🧘‍♂️ Managing stress in simple, sustainable ways
💦 Supporting your liver, gut, and adrenals

…can go a long way in supporting thyroid healing — and all of these can be done on a budget.

You can feel better without draining your bank account. You just need to understand what’s actually causing your symptoms in the first place.

That’s why I created a FREE guide: “Five Common Causes of Hypothyroidism (That Your Doctor Might Not Be Talking About).”
This is the resource I wish I had when I was struggling to get answers.

✨ What your cravings really mean (hint: it’s not lack of willpower)

We’ve been taught that cravings are simply a sign of weakness. Like if you just had more discipline, you’d be able to resist that cookie… or the chips… or the chocolate hiding in the back of the pantry.

But here’s the truth no one talks about enough: cravings are not a character flaw.

They’re messages from your body. Signals trying to tell you that something is off balance—physically, emotionally, or hormonally.

👉 Blood sugar swings. Ever notice how sugar cravings hit hardest when you’ve skipped a meal or eaten mostly carbs without enough protein? Your body is trying to bring your blood sugar back up fast.

👉 Hormone fluctuations. Women often crave chocolate or carbs around their period because of shifting estrogen and progesterone levels, and the effect those hormones have on neurotransmitters like serotonin.

👉 Stress. Chronic stress raises cortisol, which can increase cravings for quick energy (hello, sugar and salty snacks!).

👉 Emotional needs. Sometimes we crave comfort foods because we’re lonely, anxious, bored, or seeking a sense of reward. Food feels soothing in the moment—but it’s not addressing the real need underneath.

👉 Nutrient deficiencies. Low magnesium, for instance, can trigger chocolate cravings. Low protein intake can drive sugar cravings because your body’s searching for quick fuel.

So next time a craving hits, pause and ask yourself:

- Did I skip meals today or go too long without eating?
- Am I exhausted or running on stress hormones?
- Where am I in my cycle?
- Am I feeling sad, lonely, or overwhelmed?
- Am I nourishing my body with enough protein, healthy fats, and fiber?

This isn’t about willpower—it’s about wisdom. Your body is talking to you.

💛 Be gentle with yourself. Listen to the clues. The more you tune in and support your body’s true needs, the less power those cravings will hold over you.

Your period isn’t just a monthly nuisance — it’s a messenger. 🩸

👉 Is your cycle irregular?
👉 Are your cramps unbearable?
👉 Feeling extra drained, moody, or breaking out?

These are not just “normal woman problems.” They’re often signs your hormones, thyroid, or liver may need more support.

When your cycle is off, it’s your body waving a red flag — not asking for a heavier pad, but for a deeper look at what’s going on underneath. 👀

Start tracking patterns, not just dates. Your period is a report card for your overall health. 💌✨

Ever feel like you’re not quite you lately?

It’s something few people talk about—that quiet struggle of moving through your day feeling disconnected from the person you know yourself to be.

You handle work. You show up for your family. You keep all the plates spinning…

Yet inside, you’re silently asking: “When will I feel like myself again?”

If that’s where you are right now, please hear this:

✨ Strength isn’t just big and bold. Sometimes it’s soft and steady. It’s choosing to get out of bed, to take one tiny step forward, even when everything feels heavy.

I’ve been there, too—those days when it seemed like feeling better was miles away. But every small thing I did for my health added up, even when it didn’t feel like progress in the moment.

You’re not alone in this. You’re doing better than you realize.

Give yourself grace. Healing and growth don’t happen overnight. They happen one brave, quiet day at a time. 💛

Drop a ❤️ if this speaks to you—and share this with someone who needs the reminder.

From struggling with her weight and feeling completely drained…
to hitting her goal weight, crossing the finish line of walking a half marathon, and finally feeling like herself again. 🏃🏻‍♀️💥

This client’s journey is proof that when you support your body the right way, everything changes. 🙌

It wasn’t about restriction. It was about healing her metabolism, balancing her hormones, and learning to trust her body again.

I’m so proud of her—and if you’re in a place where you feel stuck, just know… this kind of transformation is possible for you, too. ❤️

SAVE this for later 🔖

Let’s talk about how I actually eat to support my thyroid and hormones…

Spoiler: it’s not complicated.
No extremes. No cutting out entire food groups. No skipping meals. Just simple, nourishing habits that actually work.

Here’s what I focus on ⬇️

✨ Building balanced meals with protein, healthy fats, and fiber-rich carbs to keep my blood sugar steady and my energy stable
✨ Eating every 3–4 hours to avoid crashes and keep my metabolism supported
✨ Loading up on colorful veggies and seasonal fruits that feed my gut and hormone health
✨ Choosing whole, real foods—not perfection, just consistency

It’s not about dieting. It’s about supporting your body—especially your thyroid, hormones, and metabolism—so you can feel energized, calm, and strong.

This way of eating has been a game changer for my health. And the best part? It’s totally doable.

Hello ladies! I am here to help you overcome hypothyroidism by shedding a few pounds and get your sexy back.

Hi, I am Angela Brown. I wasn’t always as health conscious as I am today. I’ve always had an interest in sports and working out, but living a healthy lifestyle was a battle for me. I didn’t eat the best and burned the candle at both ends. I became interested in the healthcare field in high school when I took my first anatomy class. It was then that I knew I wanted to pursue a career related to the body and how it functioned. After I graduated high school, I earned a degree in Physical Therapy. I worked in outpatient orthopedic and sports clinics for 8 years but at that point, I knew I wanted something more. I became certified in personal training and then went on to get certified in health coaching. My passion for nutrition and lifestyle change began to grow even more when I was struggling with my own health issues. I was disappointed since I felt that this was just the way it was going to be for me. I lived this way for the next 10 years. I was in and out of doctor’s offices, getting blood checked, and always being told that I was either crazy or I needed to just accept this. I wasn’t about to do that! After becoming certified as Functional Diagnostic Nutrition Practitioner, I finally started getting answers. I began much more extensive testing on myself and kept digging for more answers. I still have hypothyroidism today, but it is finally controlled with the correct supplements and lifestyle choices that work for my thyroid. You too can take back control of your thyroid with the right tools, resources, diet, sleep, exercise, stress-reducing techniques and supplements – just like I have time and time again. I have set out on a mission to help with women overcome hypothyroidism so they can lose weight and get their sexy back.
