Today we observe the sacrifice of Jesus on the cross at Calvary. The sacrifice that made life after this possible. The sacrifice that washed all sins that had been and would ever be away so we weren't shackled by them forever. Today we think about his hands pierced; his body broken. But we also remember that Sunday is coming. Sunday always comes.

They sacrifice stability in routines, extracurriculars, family, friends, and time with their parents who are serving. Today we recognize them and the sacrifices they make. Today is World Autism Acceptance Day. While one day could never fully highlight the importance of individuals with Autism, it is a day of conversation that leads into a month of action. At Hope, we not only recognize the importance of each individual with Autism, we recognize the need for a more inclusive world. May today be the start of the conversation and may the month of April bring change in our community. When people are valued and included, they are able to contribute their beautiful gifts to make the world around them better. We praise God for our blessings, our gifts, our friends, our family, and our neighbors with Autism.
